The arrangement

If a reader follows our partner link to a vendor and later becomes a paying customer, that vendor may pay us a referral fee. The reader pays the vendor’s normal price. At present the site has a single partner link, to Ellty, and it always passes through an address beginning with /go/. Every other vendor link points directly at that vendor’s own website.

How outbound links are coded

• /go/ links open in a fresh tab and carry rel="noopener".
• Direct links to other vendors carry rel="nofollow noopener" plus a UTM tag naming this site as the source of the visit.
• Our robots file asks crawlers to skip every /go/ address.

What payment never touches

• The scoring formulas run identically for paying partners and for everyone else; the scoring approach page lists them.
• No company can purchase a place in a ranking, a higher score or a friendlier review.
• Partner facts and non-partner facts come from the same research file and the same checks.
